About:
The name, Congchiglie literally means shells. One of the most recognizable and used shapes of all the pasta shapes. They come both smooth and ridged as pictured below. Due to its deep bowl shape its perfect for thicker, heavier sauces. The smallest variety that you see here is good for use in many thin soups and thicker meat or vegetable stews.
