Sea Breeze
These have been a popular summer drink since I was in my early 20's which was a long time ago.
Recipe for 1 drink

5-6 ice cubes
1 measure - (4 cl.) vodka
2 1/2 measures - (6 cl.) cranberry juice
1 measure - (4 cl.) grapefruit juice
1 lime wedge

Assembling the recipe:

In a cocktail shaker place the ice, vodka, cranberry juice, and grapefruit juice.

Fit the top of the shaker and shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds.

Strain into a high ball glass.

Gently squeeze the lime wedge into the drink and add it to the drink.

Serve immediately.

Notes:

I have been drinking Sea Breeze's for the past 30 years and love them in the summer on hot afternoons. I serve them at brunches and they seem as popluar as ever. Personally I like serving these with ice so I don't strain them. I like the way the ice melts over time and the drink last so much longer getting a little less concentrated as the hour pasts. It also helps to keep the number of them I consume to a minimum.
