newest trend in bridal parties or showers is "Afternoon

at a wonderful and very feminine afternoon of girl talk.
Picnics
- Who
said that a picnic has to be ham sandwiches, potato salad
and mosquito's. Have a beautiful picnic basket filled with
delicious salads, a roast chicken, seared tuna and a couple
of bottles of good chilled white wine. It can be as simple
or as elaborate as you like, pack up a bit of china, linen,
a fold up card table and couple of chairs and live life like

that does not require you to do anything or buy any presents.

family and just being grateful to be together.
Advent/Lucia
- We
have all been to those boring glugg parties that we love and
love to hate. It doesn't need to be that way. Although a traditionally
casual affair, it is easily dressed up. Canapes, warm creamy
winter soups of carrot with ginger, small sandwiches and some
great table decorations and suddenly Lucia becomes a lovely
and cozy celebration filled with friends and conversation. |
