White onion is a fairly large type of dry onion that has a pure white skin and a sweet, mild white flesh. This onion is used in Mexican foods or for complementing the flavors of other ingredients. Because of the milder nature they are perfect to use raw in salads, barbecued on shish kebabs, in stews and soups, on sandwiches and in meat dishes. |
