À la Diable

A French term meaning "deviled", hot or spicey in most cases the heat coming from mustards of different sorts and the dish is either breaded and baked. The heat can also come from different spices but mustard seems to be the main agent.

Al Diablo dishes are also found in Spain and in America the term has been taken to mean almost any recipe that is hot and spicey
