Privacy:

Privacy is important to me and I really do hate getting junk e-mail with no way of getting rid of it. To avoid that situation I have begun to use this mail program supplied by my web hotel, Box Hosting. If you ever want to be taken off my list just unsubscribe using the link above and it will all be done automatically.

This mailing list program that I am using for Cooking with Friends has many options for members which you can see if you go to the Mailing List Administration page link below. One of them gives any member the right to request the entire list of e-mail addresses which are on this list. I have disabled this option that gives list members the right to see the whole mailing list and my archives pages. This is to ensure that no one but myself as List Administrator can access your e-mail address or to see the lists of my mailings, their content and who they were mailed to. Disabling these features also insures that your e-mail address is protected and cannot be read by any individual, web crawlers or robots looking for e-mail addresses to harvest.

This unfortunately disables another feature of my mailing lists options and that is the ability of all members to e-mail other Cooking with Friends members through the list. (Useful when used as a discussion forum).

On the Mailing Lists Administration pages you will see something about your address being on other address lists within this mailing list program I am using. Your address is not on any other list but this one. I don't share e-mail addresses with anyone although if I think if there is a really good web site or kitchen technique, recipe or gadget I will send you information about it myself and you can go to that link if you wish to.
